Design and Features

Benchmarking

3DMark Comprehensive Performance Test





Using the 3DMark benchmark, various graphics performances were measured. In Time Spy, a representative benchmark for gaming performance at QHD resolution, the RX 9060 XT showed outstanding results, with up to 31% faster computational performance compared to the previous generation RX 7600 XT. It also demonstrated high performance in Steel Nomad and Speed Way, and notably, ray tracing performance in the Port Royal benchmark was about twice as improved compared to the previous generation.



AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4), a core technology of Radeon graphics cards, offers significant game frame improvements through AI-based upscaling. With next-generation ray tracing and AMD FSR 4-based upscaling, it allows for high-resolution gaming while maintaining frame rates. Test results showed an average performance improvement of 75.6% when the FSR 4 feature was enabled.
Game Performance Test



Using four games, we tested actual gaming performance by changing graphics settings at FHD, QHD, and UHD resolutions. Without FSR 4 enabled, games can be played at over 60 frames even at medium settings in UHD resolution.

Enabling the frame generation feature at UHD resolution and ultra preset increases the average frame rate by about 68.23% to 70.49 frames, allowing for smooth gameplay. Now, mainstream graphics cards can handle AAA titles at 4K resolution.




In the PUBG test, the RX 9060 XT showed excellent performance not only at FHD resolution but also in QHD and UHD (4K) environments. By adjusting the graphics options appropriately, smooth gameplay at over 120Hz is possible even at high resolutions. Particularly in QHD, stable 144Hz gameplay is achievable with slight compromises on some ultra settings, and in UHD, a combination of medium to high settings maintains smooth frames.


Similarly, in Overwatch 2, the XFX Radeon RX 9060 XT SWIFT DUAL WHITE OC D6 8GB delivers performance that allows for smooth gameplay on high refresh rate gaming monitors at QHD and UHD resolutions.


In the Cyberpunk 2077 Liberty test, the RX 9060 XT provides very smooth and comfortable frames at FHD resolution, and with appropriate graphics adjustments, it offers sufficient performance for gaming on high refresh rate monitors in QHD environments. By compromising on some ray tracing settings or utilizing upscaling technologies like FSR, stable frames can be maintained even in complex urban areas or intense combat situations.
Overall, the RX 9060 XT allows for comfortable gaming at maximum settings in FHD resolution and shows stable performance above 60fps at high settings in QHD resolution.
Temperature Test


To test thermal management performance, we conducted a temperature test using the Monster Hunter Wilds benchmark. The idle state maintained around 37°C, and during gaming at QHD resolution, the GPU temperature was measured at 56-57°C, with hotspot temperatures around 80-82°C.
The XFX SWIFT DUAL cooling system’s performance is excellent, as it keeps the GPU core temperature below 60°C even under heavy load, demonstrating outstanding heat dissipation performance. The hotspot temperature remains in the low 80s, ensuring stable performance without throttling concerns even during extended gaming sessions.
